What data we process and why
- "Ship's log" newsletter — your email, language, the page you subscribed on and the date of consent. Used to send you Cruise Padel news. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Priority list — the details you enter in the form (such as name, email, phone and playing levels). Used to send you the programme and answer your request before a possible booking. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request and your consent to communications.
- Participants' area — name, email, the editions you took part in, password (stored encrypted, never in plain text) and last sign-in date. Used to give you access to the private galleries of your editions. Legal basis: performance of the service you booked.
- Edition photos — pictures of the event in which you may appear. Full galleries are only visible to participants of the same edition; a small selection is public as a preview. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in documenting and promoting the event. If you do not want to appear in a photo, write to us and we will remove it.
- Site security — your IP address is used for a few minutes to limit sign-in attempts and repeated submissions, and technical server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site and accounts.
We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- HighLevel / LeadConnector (GoHighLevel) — the contact platform that holds the priority list and the newsletter. HighLevel, Inc. is based in the United States; the transfer relies on the safeguards provided by the GDPR (European Commission standard contractual clauses).
- PTisp — website and email hosting, in Portugal.
- The cruise line and event partners — only the data needed for your booking, when you book.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr — serve the fonts and the cookie banner library; they receive your IP address when the page loads.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Priority list: until the end of the edition it refers to, or until you ask us to delete it.
- Participant account and photos: while the galleries are available, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Technical logs: up to 30 days.
